Program Description:

The Department of Cell Biology offers graduate training in cell biology and physiology leading to the Ph.D. degree. The department is closely associated with the interdepartmental Program in Cell and Molecular Biology, and many of the department's graduate students are also members of that program. Other University-wide training programs of interest to departmental faculty and graduate students include those in genetics, neurobiology, pharmacology, and toxicology.
