Program Description:

The Dowling College Master of Science / Reading Teacher degree program fulfills the need for personnel at the elementary and secondary levels of education who are well-versed in both theoretical and pragmatic concepts related to literacy acquisition. The underlying philosophy of the M.S. Reading Teacher Program is that reading, listening,writing, and speaking are basic, interrelated processes. Coursework is offered days, nights, and weekends in Oakdale and Brookhaven.
