Business Architecting Certificate

Program Description:

This 10-week executive MBA-level certificate will teach the participant how to understand a business from an architectÆs point-of-view, seeing it as an interdependent set of systems, each being a microcosm of the business itself. The program begins by comparing the nature of a businessÆs structures to those of a living organism and explores the processes that result in the formation of the corporate DNA. We then drill down into the design and analysis of business structures that will accommodate growth, organizational change and automation using information technologies.Students will learn a methodology for approaching design that facilitates cross-organizational support for implementation, and practice applying these learnings through in-class and assigned case analyses.
