Program Description:

The department offers programs of study leading to the master of science degrees in two areas of concentration: Statistics and Actuarial Science. These degrees are designed to provide students with the necessary quantitative background for employment in business, industry, or government and to provide a solid foundation for students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. degree in statistics.
