Program Description:

Engineering Geology uses geological, geophysical and geotechnical methods to investigate the sub-surface for civil engineering projects. The complexity of many projects requires a sound assessment of ground conditions and environmental implications. The course provides students with clear conceptual understandings of the mechanical and hydromechanical interactions between sub-surface materials and designed structures.
