Program Description:

In the era of evidence based medicine, the need for accurate information to inform the design and execution of clinical trials is more important than ever before. In addition, global good clinical practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements demand that the collection, archiving, analysis and interpretation of clinical information are well-managed and transparent for audit.
This MSc is unique in its field and has been designed to equip students with the balance of skills and knowledge required to manage information efficiently and effectively in the healthcare sector. The course content is relevant to clinical research practice within the public and private sector, enabling better management of study information from design to completion.
Course Structure
Our Clinical Research Management MSc is part of the Clinical Research Programme and is divided into three parts:
• a formal taught component comprising eight modules
• a group project
• an individual research project

Eligibility Requirements:

To hold a 1st or 2nd class UK honours degree, or equivalent, in a relevant discipline. Where applicable, students must achieve a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or TOEFL 580. Our Academic English Summer Programme offers pre-sessional training in English. Our normal minimum requirement is a TOEFL score of 580 (paper test) or 237 (computer test), essay rating 4.5 or 92 (Internet test), all skills 19 or an IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 for writing, a TOEIC overall score of 830, or a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English grade C or Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English grade C, although a number of our programmes require higher scores.
