Program Description:

The main objectives of the two-semester Master of Engineering degree in OR and I.E. are 1) to give students greater breadth and depth of technical knowledge ,2) to synthesize and apply the material studied in course work, and 3) to provide experience in team-based engineering design projects. The emphasis is on mathematical modeling and the application of quantitative techniques associated with optimization, probability, and statistics to the design and operation of systems.
