Program Information

Degree Offered

M.F.A.- Creative Writing

Format: Campus

Program Description:

The Writing Division is a creative community of master teachers and gifted student writers. We believe that writing is an intensely individual conjunction of many conscious and unconscious forces, but a writer can accomplish much through consciously perfecting his or her craft in a community of fellow artists who comfort, challenge, stimulate, and support. We avoid cults of personality and formulas for success and don't favor any particular aesthetic, ideology, style, or genre. We're dedicated to helping each student find and develop a distinct voice and vision.
