Nationwide there is an increasing demand for skilled and experienced professionals who can manage the development and deployment of technology across a broad spectrum of industries and who can leverage technology to improve core business performance.

Columbia’s program in Technology Management, offered by the School of Continuing Education, targets mid-career technical professionals who need to deepen their understanding of business and management in order to enhance their performance as technology managers. The curriculum approaches technology from a business perspective, emphasizing the strategic issues that confront senior executives today. The multidisciplinary faculty is composed of industry leaders.

The program is designed for working technology professionals. Students discuss current workplace challenges in the classroom, creating opportunities to share insights and solve problems among peers. This hands-on approach is further enhanced by the active participation of senior executives who serve as mentors.
