Program Description:
Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism – the only journalism school in the Ivy League – provides journalists with a unique opportunity to hone and deepen their skills at any point in their careers.
For nearly 100 years, the Journalism School has been preparing journalists in a program that stresses academic rigor, ethics, journalistic inquiry and professional practice. Our mission is to give students tools that will guide them over the long term as journalists. This includes, first and foremost, intensive individual coaching in reporting and writing provided by the nationally renowned journalists on our faculty.
