Program Description:

The Department of Pathology of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University offers a program of study and training in experimental pathology leading to the Ph.D. degree in pathobiology. The program is designed to prepare students for independent research in the mechanisms and processes of disease by providing an in-depth education in disciplines basic to the medical sciences and relevant aspects of biology, together with training in the modalities of laboratory investigation.
