Program Description:
M.A. Students may choose between a thesis program (30 minimum semester credits) or a non-thesis program (36 minimum semester credits). Depending upon previous background and preparation, students in the M.A. program ordinarily will complete one-third of their course work outside political science.Ph.D. Program: This program, placing special emphasis on the study of environmental and natural resource politics and administration, offers a unique combination of faculty expertise and specialized course work. It is designed to produce graduates who combine substantive knowledge of the physical environment with the skills and insights of political science.
