Program Description:

The CSU Department of Atmospheric Science offers a rigorous and broad curriculum in the atmospheric sciences. Our roots are in tropical meteorology but our research programs now span the middle and high latitudes, and cross many scales from molecular to global. As an illustration of the breadth of our current program we offer research concentrations in biosphere and carbon cycle, atmospheric chemistry, cloud dynamics, dynamic meteorology, hurricane dynamics, mesoscale meteorology, numerical and laboratory modeling, general circulation, radar meteorology, atmospheric radiation and remote sensing.
