Program Description:

The Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology offers graduate programs leading to M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in research areas in medical and veterinary bacteriology, immunology, virology; pathology, molecular biology/microbial genetics; environmental microbiology/microbial ecology; and biotechnology/industrial microbiology. Five major subdisciplines in microbiology have been defined: bacteriology, virology, immunology, molecular genetics, and vector biology.
