Graduate research degrees in Horticulture and Landscape Architecture emphasize creative problem solving with horticultural commodities (floriculture, landscape, nursery, pomology, turf, vegetable crops, viticulture), and are based on disciplinary and interdisciplinary investigations (plant physiology, environmental and soil sciences, plant genetics, plant biochemistry, landscape design/planning).
