Program Description:
Course work and research emphasize the application of economic principles and business skills to mineral, energy, and environmental issues with the goal of ensuring that graduates are qualified in four areas: economic analysis, business and investment decision making, quantitative methods, and communication. MS and Ph.D. students specialize in one of the following fields: Economics and Public Policy, Business Strategy and Finance, or Operations Research.
