Program Description:
The ESE Division offers a multidisciplinary environmental science and engineering program. Graduate students in the program come from diverse academic backgrounds in such fields as life sciences, earth sciences, chemistry, and many engineering disciplines. The Division's faculty are equally interdisciplinary in their research interests, and they teach basic as well as applied science and engineering. The ESE curriculum integrates science and engineering within existing legal, economic, and regulatory constraints and prepares students to find creative solutions to diverse environmental challenges.
