Program Description:

The certified option of the M.Ed. program is designed to meet the needs of certified teachers who teach or administer programs of health or physical education in public or private schools. The non-certified option is available to individuals from allied fields of study or those who have a minor (15 cr.) in health and/or physical education. Specializations in Health Education include Health Science Education and Safety Education. Specializations in Physical Education include Adapted Physical Education and Scientific Foundations, Administration of Physical Education and Athletic Management, and Elementary and Secondary School Physical Education.
