Program Description:
The Doctor of Physical Therapy program is designed to prepare clinicians who can think critically and solve problems; apply scientifically validated therapeutic skills and techniques effectively; respect the dignity of individuals; and understand the responsibilities of the health-care provider in the twenty-first century. This program is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. Upon completion, a graduate must apply for and successfully pass the National Physical Therapy Examination conducted by each state's licensing board.
