Program Description:
This program is designed for professionals who are working in urban and regional planning, or a related field. It helps them get an overview of the theories and practices that planners, policy analysts, and public managers use to identify, analyze, and solve urban and regional planning problems. In the Low country of South Carolina, such problems often pertain to economic development, mobility and accessibility, sustainability, housing, community and civic engagement and the preservation of quality of life. Most classes meet at the Low country Graduate Center, if they are not online.
Accreditation:
Official undergraduate transcripts, a letter of intent, resume, a sample of recent work projects, undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher, two letters of recommendation, and writing samples are required.
