Program Description:
Inspire confidence and creativity in your students by earning a master's degree in teaching choral music. Our instructors will lead you through an exploration of the curriculum and management of elementary and secondary music education programs. Additionally, you will explore current trends in arts education and advanced choral techniques such as vocal pedagogy and choral conducting.

Cover letter or essay outlining your professional goals, audition/interview, undergraduate degree in music or evidence of arts proficiency, undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher and 3.0 GPA in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework, GRE scores, two letters of recommendation, entrance examinations in music theory, music history, functional keyboard and performance, and evidence of completion of an arranging course are required.
