Program Description:
Faculty from the College of Charleston and from The Citadel offer a wealth of expertise in United States history, European history, and global history. This foundation will serve you well, whether your interest lies in continuing your education after receiving your degree, pursuing opportunities in public history, or continuing an already well-established career. Interesting campus resources will supplement your education, including the largest archive of Jewish heritage in the Southeast and the Avery Research Center for African American History and Culture.
Accreditation:
Three letters of recommendation, GRE scores, a writing sample from an upper-level history course, evidence of your ability to conduct research and present findings, at least 15 hours of undergraduate history courses beyond the introductory level, and a 2.5 undergraduate GPA/3.0 in the major are required.
