Program Description:

Overview: College at Sea provides students with the opportunity to conduct research in many different marine environments of Australia as they work and travel through more than 1500 km of the Coral Sea coast. Curriculum Highlights: College at Sea focuses on learning through involvement in active research programs. A maximum of 20 Students will work with 4-5 academic staff members to complete core units in the fields of tropical marine ecosystems, oceanography, nutrient dynamics, remote sensing and marine navigation.Setting Description: Students spend a total of 7 weeks living and working on marine environments of the Coral Sea.
