The PhD program in Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design (RCID) features a trans-disciplinary curriculum developed by faculty from Art, Communication Studies, English, Philosophy, Languages as well as other units in the College of AAH. The program provides a solid foundation in theory in addition to extensive training in research and practice. RCID is an academic-professional degree, preparing students to conduct research and to disseminate their findings through teaching in the university and through publishing in professional and popular journals.
