Program Description:
This program prepares graduate students to apply science and engineering principles to solve problems related to the scientific understanding, characterization, and development of new technology necessary for the processing and manufacturing of different materials and related products. The curriculum provides for specialization in metallurgy, glasses and ceramics, and polymeric materials including electronic materials, biomaterials, polymer and fiber science, textile science, polymer and textile chemistry, and fiber and composite materials.
