Program Description:

As part of its committment to meeting the needs of all residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Department of Library Science offers a variety of distance education programs. These programs utilize various delivery techniques, including on-site instruction, interactive television (ITV), and Web-based delivery. ITV delivery involves two or more sections of the same course that are taught simultaneously by the same instructor from a central location. Students at remote sites participate in the class via two-way audio and video. Courses offered via the World Wide Web may, at the instructor's discretion, require some on-campus meetings.
