Program Description:

The M.A. program, which is offered jointly with the University of Charleston, offers courses in British literature, American literature, and composition and rhetoric. Students are required to take thirty-six hours of graduate courses and pass a comprehensive exam and a foreign language exam; a thesis option, which takes the place of six hours of instruction, is also available.
