Program Description:

This major offers a tri-fold focus of classes in arts, theology, philosophy and theory. The student is also encouraged to receive practicum credit for workshops, tours, and missions. The staff will encourage the ministry aspects of the arts; training the student with excellence founded on character and Scripture. Art is viewed as expression of our relationship with God, used to express life in God, with God, for God. It is not art for art?s sake...but rather art for Christ?s sake. From this viewpoint, the student will study Scripture, culture, and the techniques of art to an equal and high level of excellence.
