Program Description:
Graduates of the Consulting Track within the Business Psychology doctoral program learn to apply the principles of business psychology in consulting environments, helping to improve individual, group, and organizational functioning in both for-profit and nonprofit settings.
The program prepares students to assume high-level responsibilities in today's global, multicultural business environment. Curriculum integrates industrial and organizational psychology, clinical psychology, and business coursework, providing students with advanced knowledge of theory as well as application to a variety of business challenges, including right-sizings, mergers and acquisitions, strategic repositioning, project management, change consultation, and executive succession planning.
The Business Psychology faculty is made up of business and psychology professionals with a breadth of expertise, experience, and educational background, representing areas essential to our conceptualization of business psychology. Our faculty have degrees in I/O psychology, business, clinical psychology, and organizational development.
