Master of Accountancy
Program Description:
The Master of Accounting (MAcc) is a flexible program designed to fit the student's career goals, and is available to college graduates of all majors. The MAcc program is designed to help prepare students to take advantage of the many opportunities available in the field of accounting. The curriculum also helps students to prepare for the CPA and/or the CMA examinations. Whether a student desires to work in private industry, the not-for-profit sector, or governmental entities, a degree in accounting can lead to a dynamic career with skills that are highly valued in the marketplace. The MAcc requires students to take ten, three-credit courses from both the accounting and MBA curriculum. Many of these courses are available in concentrated seven- week terms so the program can be completed in as quickly as one year. The courses a student will take will depend upon his/her level of previous accounting and business education and his/her career goals.
