Program Description:
Physical Therapists address health maintenance and the prevention of disabilities, the identification and assessment of impaired motor function and the rehabilitation towards optimal health. Physical Therapists provide both therapeutic services and psychosocial support to individuals of all ages with musculoskeletal, neurological, sensorimotor, cardiovascular, andother physiological dysfunctions. Physical Therapists may be employed in hospitals, extended care facilities, ambulatory clinics, school systems, or sports medicine centers. They may also be self-employed professionals in private practice.
