Program Description:

The Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management (MSHCPM) program provides students with a world class education that enables them to pursue and succeed in many different types of careers within the health sector. We differentiate ourselves from schools of public health and healthcare administration by providing the highly marketable and transferable skills that employers demand.

Our graduates can be found around the world working for organizations such as the Singapore Ministry of Health, Korean Medical Association, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, MAXIMUS, Deloitte, Mayo Clinic, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).

Features & Benefits:

* MSHCPM is a top-ranked (US News & World Report) health program housed in a school of public policy.
* We offer concentrations in economics and policy, IT and operations, and management and organization.
* Our world class faculty focuses on core competencies, team based learning and quantitative approach to solving problems.
* Students participate in systems synthesis projects, internships and independent studies that emphasize experiential learning.
* Students develop a skill set that is more marketable, transferable and unique than traditional MPH and MHA programs.

It is suggested that applicants also complete college level courses in economics and statistics prior to enrollment. Students who have not completed these courses may be required to enroll in and successfully complete the Quantitative Skills Summer Program (QSSP) as a condition of their offer of admission.
