Program Description:
The program at Sacramento State prepares students to practice as masters level behavior analysts, as well as enter doctoral programs (Ph.D.) in Applied Behavior Analysis or Experimental Analysis of Behavior. Our graduates are extremely marketable in California and are typically employed by school districts, private schools or agencies providing services to individuals with learning, emotional or developmental disabilities. Our students work closely with the behavior analysis faculty conducting state-of-the-art research in Verbal Behavior (Dr. Miguel) and Feeding Disorders (Dr. Penrod). We have many internship opportunities on and off-campus, including out-of-state Summer Internships. Our program has been approved by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
