Many of us take for granted our ability to speak and comprehend language without issue. However, for adults and children with communication disorders that include autism, dyslexia, and aphasia, seemingly simple tasks can become quite difficult. Thankfully, help is available, and you can be among the caring professionals who bring hope and comfort.

Online Communication Disorders and Sciences (CDS) Prerequisite Program

•2-year, online Pre-CDS program for students from non-CDS or speech language pathology backgrounds who wish to complete required coursework for a master’s-level program in CDS
• Students who complete this program may be automatically admitted to the online Master of Science in Communication Disorders and Sciences
• This prerequisite program also provides a great foundation for entry into the online Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Fieldwork Experience certificate program
•Course topics include speech and language development, phonetics, voice and fluency disorders, speech science, and language disorders
