Program Description:

This certificate program is for people bilingual in Spanish and English who wish to work in the courts as an Interpreter and Translator, or who desire to work as a State or Federally certified interpreter and translator in other areas of the public or private sector, or who want to sharpen their bilingual skills for translation and interpretation. Students learn to translate business, medical, legal, and literary documents, and learn the skills of simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, along with sight translation.
