Program Description:
The Department of Anthropology is committed to providing students with hands-on experience in the community through internships, speaking engagements, public archaeology projects, museum exhibits, and fieldwork in educational and business settings. The Department supports service learning, which places students in public service agencies and encourages them to share their understanding of culture, issues of relativism and ethnocentrism, and understanding of cultural diversity with the agencies they serve.
