Program Description:
Founded in 1990, the Joint Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership offers professional educators the opportunity to pursue a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership. Professionals entering the program are encouraged to examine the social and cultural contexts of schools and become engaged in issues of curriculum design and instruction. Areas of specialization for course work and dissertation topics include organizational studies; supervision, curriculum, and instruction; assessment and evaluation; and sociocultural contexts.
