Program Description:
The Master of Public Administration prepares students for careers as professional managers of public sector or nonprofit organizations, or in firms with close ties to government such as utilities or defense contractors. The MPA can also lead to careers in research, teaching, and consulting. The MPA curriculum provides a theoretical foundation for the practice of public management. MPA courses are offered only in the evenings. Students can complete all program requirements in two years by taking two courses per semester and one summer course.
