Program Description:
The Master of Arts in Education program offers options in Computer-Based Education, Counseling, Educational Administration, Multicultural Education, and Teaching and Curriculum. In addition, an Individualized Program Option is available. The Graduate Education Department also offers credentials in Administrative Services and Pupil Personnel Services as well as Special Education Specialist and Special Education Resource Specialist state certificates.Certificate programs are available for the following areas: Assistive Technology Specialist, Computer-Based Education, Cross-Cultural Special Education, and Urban Classroom Teacher. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the full-time working professional, with a full program of courses in the late afternoon and evening. Courses are offered so that degree requirements may be completed on a part-time basis over a period of two years or foursemesters.
