Program Description:

The Master of Arts in Humanities encompasses interdisciplinary topic studies as well as single discipline studies in several areas of the humanities: art history, history, literature, music, philosophy, theater, and other performing arts. The program provides the opportunity for theoretical analysis and critical examination of current and perennial issues from the humanities perspective. Students examine the great works and performances in the arts along with lasting ideas and movements in history, literature, and philosophy.
