MA in East-West Psychology, PhD in East-West Psychology, Advanced Certificate in East-West Spiritual Counseling
Format: Campus
Program Description:
Combining experiential learning and rigorous scholarship, this program allows you to design your own area of specialization. You pursue your studies in a framework that honors both intellectual inquiry and personal transformation. Small and individualized research seminars cover six East-West psychological approaches—depth psychology, transpersonal psychology, consciousness studies, East-West spiritual counseling, ecopsychology, and shamanic studies. In the doctor program, you pay special attention to advanced topics: Jung and Contemporary Spirituality, Spiritual Intelligence, Comparative Mysticism, and Consciousness and Spiritual Growth. The breadth and depth of this program foster professional leadership and distinctive research.
Recent alums of the MA program have launched the first graduate program in transpersonal psychology academically recognized in Mexico, taught at colleges and universities, maintained private practices, lectured, curated exhibitions, and facilitated workshops.
Recent graduates of the PhD program teach, publish, lecture internationally, play leadership roles in foundations, and maintain private practices.
The Advanced Certificate Program in East-West Spiritual Counseling is a two-semester course of study for mental health practitioners and pastoral counselors that you may pursue jointly with the doctoral program.
