Program Description:

Bank Street's Dual Language/Bilingual Education programs, designed to prepare new bilingual educators as well as to help those already working in the field, emphasize the connection between language and culture that should permeate all aspects of classroom activities and organization. Applicants must be fluent in English and in Spanish. The programs lead to New York State certification in General and/or Special Education with an extension in Bilingual Education.
