Program Description:
For admission to the master's degree program, the student is expected to have completed courses in modern abstract algebra and real analysis (advanced calculus) beyond elementary calculus of one and several variables and linear algebra. Those courses are prerequisite to advanced courses in algebra and analysis required for the M.A. and M.S. degrees.
