Program Description:

Bryn Mawr's PhD program in Physics offers small student-oriented classes, cutting-edge research projects, opportunities for collaborative and interdisciplinary work, and diverse teaching experiences in a liberal arts college setting near the city of Philadelphia. Current research areas include: high energy physics, quantum field theory, and string theory; nanoscale materials fabrication, characterization, and application; time-resolved magnetic imaging of spin dynamics in nanomagnets; solid state dynamical nuclear magnetic resonance; molecular spectroscopy and
dynamics; and ultracold Rydberg atoms.
