Program Description:
The Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research offers three degree programs: Masters in Social Service (MSS); Masters in Law and Social Policy (MLSP); and a Ph.D. in Social Work. In addition, students with a BSW degree from an accredited school of social work may be eligible for our one year full time Advanced Standing program. MSS degree candidates can select from two concentrations: Clinical Social Work or Policy, Practice and Advocacy. The MLSP degree can be earned as a dual degree with the MSS. The School offers a specialization in Child and Family Well-being as well as the Home and School Visitor Certification and special field placement initiatives in rural gerontology and services to LGBTQ youth.
