Program Description:

Brunel's Department of Economics and Finance is a vibrant, enthusiastic and highly cosmopolitan department, having 25 academic staff with teaching and research interests ranging across mainstream economics and finance.Enrolment in our four MSc programmes is about 100 students annually from all over the world. MSc programmes in this Department operate on the academic year basis, commencing in September and ending in the following September. Each degree includes both core and optional taught modules, which are assessed by a combination of coursework and final examination. Modules are taught over a 24-week period and are preceded by a one-week introductory course in mathematics and statistics. The taught units are followed by a dissertation if the appropriate standard is reached in the taught component.We offer a limited number of three-month work placements with prestigious UK financial institutions after completion of the dissertation.
