Program Description:

The Master of Arts degree in music, musicology is a program for the student who wishes to concentrate on music scholarship. With a breadth of graduate seminars that engage topics ranging from art music to jazz and popular music to ethnomusicology, graduate students in musicology can fully explore their interests before beginning thesis research. 30 credits in graduate level music courses and a thesis are required, or students can complete 36 credits without a thesis.
