Program Description:
Brandeis University’s two-year Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Certificate Program is designed for career-changers and recent college graduates who would like to take the necessary pre-requisites for medical school and other health professions programs. Our post-bac students apply to allopathic and osteopathic medical schools as well as other health professions such as dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry or podiatry.
Our unique program, located nine miles from downtown Boston and world-famous medical facilities, uses Brandeis’ world-renowned science programs and state-of-the-art facilities as the foundation for three exciting post-bac tracks. All three tracks incorporate our popular Health: Science, Society, and Policy (HSSP) Program curriculum.
Track 1: Advanced Biology Coursework
Track 2: Study Abroad, featuring a six-week summer health care program in Copenhagen, Denmark
Track 3: Research in Project Lab
Students in all tracks benefit from advising support, professional training, affordability, and consideration for our linkage with The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
