Program Description:
The online Master of Social Work program at Boston University School of Social Work allows applicants interested in a graduate clinical social work education to earn an MSW degree by enrolling in our innovative program. Our online MSW Program offers a concentration in Clinical Social Work and is geared to individuals with a minimum of two years of supervised direct human service experience. This part-time program can be completed in 8 consecutive semesters. Courses are delivered online, and students complete a single 1,000 hour field internship within or near their geographic area. Students earn the MSW degree, and qualify for potential licensure in most states, enabling them to create and pursue new opportunities for career advancement with minimal disruption to current family or work responsibilities. Our program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, and provides a high quality education taught by School of Social Work faculty who are experts in the field.
