Program Description:

Our program offers M.S.W and Ph.D. degrees in either macro or clinical practice, and M.S.W. students choose from concentrations in Older Adults and Families; Children, Youth and Families; Health/Mental Health; and Global Practice. Our Clinical Practice intervention method prepares you for a broad range of careers and focuses on direct service to those in need. Our new macro intervention method, Social Innovation + Leadership, focuses on providing current and future leaders of the public and social service sectors with access to the latest thinking on social innovation. M.S.W. students may choose a two-year full-time program or a three- or four-year program, and have the option to take classes at our campuses in Chestnut Hill and Worcester, MA. Enrollment in the doctoral program is full time only with a two-year residency requirement. If you're interested in pursuing a career at the intersection of social work and law, business, or pastoral ministry, you might consider one of our dual-degree programs. All M.S.W students are placed with field agencies where they learn and practice skills related to their chosen concentration.
